Fascinerande porträtt på James Franco i New York Magazine häromsistens. Killen verkar ju helt hypomanisk!
Efter att ha haft en puttrig Hollywood-karriär som hunk-for-hire bestämde han sig för att skaffa sig en utbildning härom året. Han tog in på UCLA… och fick mersmak. För närvarande går han fyra utbildningar (tre i New York, en i North Carolina), är aktuell med sju filmer (inklusive kommande Allen Ginsberg-biopicen Howl), samt skriver romaner och regisserar egna projekt som en del i skolverksamheten.
“This fall, at 32, before he’s even done with all of these, he’ll be starting at Yale, for a Ph.D. in English, and also at the Rhode Island School of Design. After which, obviously, he will become president of the United Nations, train a flock of African gray parrots to perform free colonoscopies in the developing world, and launch himself into space in order to explain the human heart to aliens living at the pulsing core of interstellar quasars.”
